We have a fantastic opportunity to join the bank as a Solution Architect in our Homes division.
Solutions Architecture is part of the Architecture Homes Team and the wider Architecture Team in Santander Services.
Here you'll gain incredible exposure across the business, working closely with other architecture teams (Enterprise, Technical, Data & Security Architecture) and will liaise with Business and IT colleagues in Santander UK, as well as Santander Global Architecture.
You'll focus on the functional architecture of applications for the Homes/Mortgage business unit and how they interact with other systems in the Architecture Landscape.
You'll also contribute to the Architecture Community across various domains, sharing reusable patterns and solutions learnt on projects and best practices between the domains.
The successful candidate will have experience in the capabilities for:
Homes - all aspects of the Mortgage Market, sales, underwriting, servicing & brokers.

Producing functional architecture designs for Homes Transformation project(s)
Reviewing the designs that have been produced by Solutions Designers and Architects
Validating that solutions align to the strategies of Santander UK (e.g. Retail & Corporate Bank & Group)
Working with the engineering community to deliver solutions primarily in an agile way
What you'll bring:
Domain driven design, with working knowledge of the BIAN framework, TOGAF, ArchiMate
Experience of defining API & microservice architecture solutions
Proven experience in defining and documenting As Is & Target Architecture, defining services and integrated applications, whilst working with stakeholders to help define and deliver strategic plans and roadmaps
Be passionate about driving change by creating practical, workable architectures aligned to IT principles and following appropriate governance
Collaboration is critical, the ability to communicate concepts and influence a diverse set of stakeholder and colleagues
Knowledge of planning and organizing concepts and best practices with the ability to manage multiple projects and being flexible with a 'can do' attitude
It would also be nice for you to have:
Experience of using Architecture tools eg Avolution Abacus
Have knowledge and experience of AWS and Cloud Architectures
Have knowledge and experience of Salesforce SW eg Financial Services Cloud, Marketing Cloud and concepts therein
Experience of building APIs
