What will you deliver?
The FACILITIES SUPERVISOR will have regional oversight of a number of properties within a region. This role will be aligned to the HMCTS Facilities Manager and will be responsible for delivery of the soft services across each of the properties and first line supervision of the cleaning teams to ensure a high standard of cleanliness is maintained in line with contractual specification as well as managing soft service contractors.

The Industrial Chargehand will be responsible for assisting the Industrial Supervisor to lead and motivate the industrial team to carry out their industrial services (cleaning of floors/plant areas, pumping services, leak management, crane/hoist operation, pressure washing, cleaning of tanks) and to ensure work areas are cleaned to the expected standard.
: to assist the industrial supervisor in the following tasks, and cover during time off:
* Providing support and supervision to the industrial team
* To be able to organise a team and allocate staff to tasks accordingly
* Ensuring health and safety regulations are adhered to
* Support statutory and unplanned outages with additional hours as required
* Ensure appropriate risk assessments are undertaken on all work
* Ordering and maintaining stock levels of cleaning materials and equipment
* Management of absence and holidays for the domestic team to include investigations
* Carrying out regular observations to ensure the highest standards are achieved
* Attend meetings as required.
* Establish a good working relationship with your team members, and when required provide guidance to others
* Identify and report areas and procedures that fail to meet expected standards.
Who are we looking for?
* NVQ Level 1 in Cleaning walls, fixtures and fittings / BICS Level 1
* Experience of cleaning services and a good understanding of COSHH regulations
* Experience of working in a supervisory role preferred
* Experience of working with plant preferred
