The Legal Secretary will provide comprehensive secretarial support to the Partners and Senior Associates from the Banking and Finance, Merger & Acquisitions Practice Groups.
Responsibilities:
- Managing complex calendars
- Coordinating travel and hotel arrangements
- Drafting correspondences and legal documents
- Maintaining filing systems
- Prepare and format legal documents such as bibles, prospectuses, and agreements
- Process billing, time sheets and expense claims
- Providing coverage when other secretaries and receptionist when necessary
- Other duties assigned
Candidate reqiurements:
• Relevant offshore experience preferred especially within corporate law specific to the field of the lawyers, however those with many years in local law firms may apply
• Ability to manage pressure and conflicting demands and prioritise tasks
• Good verbal and written communication skills with the ability to read and write Mandarin in the course of work
• Strong word processing skills and proficient use of all Microsoft office tools and legal docs
• Proactive and self-driven; responsible to see tasks to completion independently
• Ability to work in a close-knit team and essentially a good team player
• Exceptional customer service as client service is paramount
• Maintain confidentiality
• Flexible to take up more responsibilities, if required
