We are looking for an ambitious and enthusiastic teacher of science with extensive experience of teaching A' Level Biology, to cover a full time post.

The Department
The Science Department is a successful and popular faculty; the results in all key stages are some of the best in the Academy. We are working hard as a department, under a determined leadership, to raise the standards of teaching, learning and examination performance in Science. Our main objectives are to:

• Offer a broad, rich curriculum experience so that our pupils are passionate about Science
• Have outstanding KS4 and KS5 achievement scores resulting from high quality teaching and learning
• Increasing uptake of students onto separate science courses
• Increasing uptake of students for all KS5 courses
• Increase the number of Oxbridge Science applications for Post graduate study.
• Raise the aspirations of all KS4 Science students through STEM and enrichment.

The Role
We are seeking an ambitious, enthusiastic, and committed Science Care with experience of teaching A level Biology. You should have proven teaching success at all key stages, good classroom management skills, high expectations of students, a commitment to quality teaching and be willing to demonstrate initiative and generate ideas in a school where enthusiasm and hard work are valued.
You will also have a strong commitment to effective behaviour management within a restorative practice framework. You should be inspired by Broadway's existing co-curricular and extra-curricular offer through its outdoor education centre in Worcestershire and want to bring your creativity to expand this for the department and the benefit of our students.

Your new role
As an R&D Tax Manager, your main duties will include developing claim methodologies, and preparing R&D tax relief claims for submission to the HMRC. You will be working very closely with existing and new/potential clients, being their main point of contact for all R&D Tax queries and contacting HMRC and their behalf. The firm will also expect you to write technical descriptions of client's projects, while preparing documentation to support R&D claims, based on UK BIS guidelines, and reviewing work completed by the junior staff within your team.

To be considered for this role, you will have strong technical knowledge of UK's R&D tax and experience in the preparation of R&D claims. The successful candidate will also have a clear and concise writing style with experience of responding to HMRC queries. Meanwhile, the ideal candidate will also have computer science/similar degree and possess some previous experience of working within the software or IT industry.

A three year opportunity is available for a post-doctoral research associate with expertise in the acquisition and analysis of human fMRI data to study brain function and cognition in children and adults.

You will work within the lab of Prof Stephen Mayhew as well as collaboratively supporting MRI research within the School of Psychology and the Institute of Health and Neurodevelopment. In particular, the role will combine fMRI with EEG and/or MEG recordings to elucidate research questions such as studying: the neurophysiological origins of brain function; how dynamic patterns of brain activation and deactivation are organised and give rise to behaviour; how indices of cortical excitability can be obtained by neuroimaging; how these patterns and indices vary between participants and their potential to provide transdiagnostic information about an individual’s mental health. We will fully support you to develop applications for independent fellowships to follow your initial post

We are looking to appoint a post-doctoral research fellow with strong qualitative skills to work on the NIHR RfPB funded 'The FAIR Study' which aims to address inequalities in the management of food allergy in South Asian adults by developing the content for supportive interventions. As the Research Fellow on the project, you will be expected to:

i)conduct interviews with South Asian patients with food allergy and healthcare professionals delivering care to identify facilitators/barriers to food allergy self-management and inform intervention development

ii)apply theoretical modelling to create a set of guiding principles for supportive intervention design and map its content to behaviour change techniques and develop a logic model

iii)Interactively draft and refine supportive intervention content with key stakeholder involvement. You will be working within a multi-disciplinary team including Clinical Allergists and Immunologists, Psychologists, Dietician, Nurses and patient and public involvement advocates. Duration: 12months
