Mencap NI have an exciting opportunity for people who have a learning disability to become an Inclusion Consultant (Research). They will use their experience and knowledge to research the impact of Mencap NI’s work.
To be an Inclusion Consultant (Research), you will:
- want to help others
- be willing to learn new skills
- have an interest in research
- be ready to take on a new challenge
- like being part of a team
- know about issues faced by people with a learning disability
- be good at communicating and listening to others.
As an Inclusion Consultant (Research), you will work with colleagues to plan, create and carry out research projects so you should have an interest in research and learning new skills. Training for all parts of the role will be provided by Mencap NI.
