Are you a compassionate and dedicated educator with experience working with children with additional needs?
We are seeking a SEND Teacher to join our team and make a positive impact on the lives of students with diverse learning needs.

As a SEND Teacher, your responsibilities will include:
- Planning and delivering high-quality lessons tailored to the individual needs of students SEND
- Creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment where all students feel valued, respected, and encouraged to reach their full potential.
- Differentiating instruction to accommodate the diverse learning styles and abilities of students, including the use of visual aids, sensory activities, and assistive technologies.
- Implementing EHCPs and interventions to address the specific needs and challenges of students
- Collaborating with parents, carers, and external professionals to develop and implement effective strategies for supporting students' academic, social, and emotional development.
- Monitoring student progress and assessing learning outcomes to inform instructional planning and ensure that individual learning goals are met.
- Maintaining accurate records of student progress, behaviour, and achievement, in accordance with school policies and procedures.
To be considered for this role, you must have:
- An Enhanced DBS check, demonstrating suitability to work with children and young people.
- Previous experience working within a school setting, preferably with children on the autistic spectrum or with sensory/speech impairments.
- A QTS (Qualified Teacher Status) or relevant teaching qualification, demonstrating your knowledge of effective teaching practices.
- Knowledge of PECS (Picture Exchange Communication System) and/or Makaton would be advantageous but is not essential.
